Shig and Ed Making a lot of bokashi for Rockaway homes

Our friends Shig and Ed have made a lot of bokashi for Rockaway homes to start fermenting their food waste which makes soil in a month opposed to 6 months.  Activated EM-1 in the bokashi is used for bioremediation to clean the waterways and buildings, brownfields, mud balls, detoxification, reduce odors, gasoline spills and so on. It’s also used to make activated starter to ferment food waste which is now available in the Rockaways from Ed at Edgemere Farms.

Property Bioremediation

The property-cleaning workshop trainings are based on a program from Teraganix’s method for Katrina. They worked on 200 homes and tested them a year later and the treatment was proven successful. The EM-1 is used around the world for large scale flood disaster areas – go to ERMOjapan.com for more information.

In the city, we off  2-hour workshops to train groups of 25 for Sandy Relief work. If you have a group that wants training or want to put one together please contact us. In disaster situations, everyone who learns is asked to teach 25 more people.

EM•1® is used to clean water, control odors, and break down toxic chemicals. Spraying EM•1® on organic wastes (sewage, manures, etc.) and on petrochemicals is an effective bioremediation method.  EM•1® is safe and anyone can do it!
