A small jar for Elderberry syrup, a mug and spork are helpful and whatever will be extra nice for you for winter grounding and sumptuousness. A throw, yoga mat, slippers, instrument, art stuff, sacred object, food. drink.
We we have a walk and romp to the garden to check on it. See our plant life in the winter staying snug, rooting rooting vibrantly for an exciting Spring.
It depends on who shows up but we have had wellness activities, healing, mutual aid for an enjoyable fun gathering. We all bring our myriad of skills for a mutual give and receive hang out every 2nd Sunday at this community garden (Jan is inside. We have hot tea and some food people bring and a medicinal plant walk. Sometimes music, singing, movement. We have an open space where people can split off for offerings in small groups. There are neighborhood certified practitioners sharing their wellness modalities.
Elderberry Syrup Again! plus goodies and offerings
Sunday Special: we have the option to make as a group Elderberry Syrup for warding off cough and cold in the winter. (Enough for 10 take-home containers). This year we are buying organic dried berries from Mountain Rose and honey from local bee keeper Ray Sage and some from the Ave A Market. Bring a small beautiful glass container if you like. We will have some for you to take some of the Elderberry Syrup.
Also to put the Elderberry on the top. Sunday we are connecting earth and people by ordering two more Elderberry bushes for the garden.
– heat water. We have a small out door area we can put the pot on the grill maybe
– opening circle for winter rooting.
– update on circle ppl working on protecting lifestyles
– update on the mycelium: move to millet next
– Open Space with acupuncture
– plant is Oatstraw

– dress in layers and fluff to be cozy so we can go in and outside in the patio or if it’s warm we all want to be out side again. December was beautiful and fantastic! It’s snowed and shimmered. Magical.
If you are definitely coming and know what you are offering we will post it here.
Kids are welcome (parents watch them). It is a small space.. one room with an outdoor space.
We are encouraging the use of community gardens as hubs for staying well and healing for neighborhood abundance.

Want to collaborate with us?
We are a group called the East Village Wellness Circle based in community gardens. We seek partnerships and collaborators to get the word out about the Wellness Circles. We want to build village health rooted in community gardens and helping all of us keep well. We seek organizations interested in bringing this circle as a lifestyle to more people. Next summer when we have lots of space outside.
