Orange Blossom Serendipity All-Over Body Cream: yeowza!

The Cream we made at Harvest Festival with everyone who stopped by.
We made personal batches with parents and kids. Recipe compliments of Liz Neves who adapted it from her Dina Falconi book. Earthly Bodies, Heavenly Hair.

The Lotion:
For all skin types: we made alterations on the alterations. The recipe is for
• 9 ounces distilled water (purified or spring will work, but may not last as long)
• 6 ounces apricot kernel oil
• 3 ounces coconut oil (virgin or extra-virgin, unrefined)
• 1 ounce beeswax
• 40 drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)

Place beeswax and carrier oil into a heat-proof measuring cup in a hot-water bath. Stir occasionally
until the wax is completely melted into the oil. Let cool to body temperature. As the oils cool, heat
distilled water in a hot-water bath, warm to body temperature. Pour oil-wax mixture into a bowl and
blend with a handheld mixer with one beater (or blender), add the water mixture a little at a time, then
beat until creamy and thick, about 5 minutes. Add essential oils and stir in thoroughly by hand. Pour
into pump jars, squeeze bottles, or wide-mouth jars. Makes about 19 ounces.
*Sustainably harvested & produced, if possible.
