This treat, if made and buried correctly, will last for 100’s of years.
It is being made as travel food for later this year but this Pemican is so good we will have to make more for later.

Meat energy bars.
“Pemican” is from the plains indians (Alberta, Great Lakes)

HOW TO MAKE it:
Grind everything (because it mixes better and absorbs the oil)
Beef: elk, buffalo, lamb
Dehydrate meat- (lamb in this case)
Salt spices
Wild edibles
In this mix:
Dry daylily blossoms
Sesame seeds
Raisons
Hemp seeds
Flake coconut
Walnuts
Almonds
Nettles
And
Lamb fat (liquified and mixed in)
Press into pan and cool
Slice
Wala savory meat granola bars !

Traditionally
It is sealed in a buffalo stomach with no air and buried. (Instructions for using stomach as container can be found elsewhere)

Lasts for 100’s of years!
