A few of MoS friends went to a citizen Visioning meeting in Rockaway Beach 25. It was so fun. Diverse thinking hashing out perceived betterment in one vision. It’s challenging to get reverse compartmentalization of services. I would like to see everything mixed up a bit more to support better. Like the EM-1 microbes services do not work as well separated.

As participation heated up, I couldn’t stop the urge to start organizing all the thoughts on paper in a non-linear fashion. There was already a note taker so I didn’t want to offend his service.. just augment it.  The conventional language and new language merged –  though not easy.
Very exciting. We could get better at this. We may have accidentally created a transition town movement in the Rockaways – opps.

Permies please go to these community meetings you are so needed! And it will be so fun for you. I found it really helpful and exciting to have Marie and DNA with me. They were just tagging along AND both were helpful I think. DNA, acupuncturist, has a health care background among many other experiences in social work, setting up the Ithaca medi-dollars and Ithaca currency was helpful. Marie is a creative writer and organic farmer working with community gardens.

We were quietly able to listen and refine i think — i hope I’m correct.
