Scobie Skin 2016 Chamise biotextile rewet 2019 . It was carefully wrapped in the refrigerator for 3 years. Made & repurposed by dd Maucher for the Loisaida Center’s upcycle show & future village at Lungs Harvest arts Festival. 6th St, Community Center, NYC 2019

The original chamise in 2016. It was saved in the fridge and reassembling was not possible. The textile became crispy and rewet it was to soggy and it was not within time restraints and budget to mess with restructuring it.

So it became Art. Yay.
