Shig teaching soil building from Fermentation at El Sol Brillante

Come by the Masters of Succession: MoS tent to map out where you live in NYC’s watershed.  Discover new ways the microbes can help heal your area on the map. The microbes are from the environment and all over our body and food. We can help our environment with them. The beneficial microbes eat our waste and in return give us proteins, enzymes, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins! What could be better?  Hopefully we find more and more use .. energy and healing solutions. They are helping us heal ourselves from inside out or our environment from outside in.

Shig Workshops during the festival day :
how to make thier own fermented bran to pickle their food scraps.

You can take home some bran too to start your fermenting of your food scraps. No bad smells plus you can use all food .. not just raw veg.. meat, bread, put it all in.

Food scraps will be pickled by the microbes and ready for the worms or for trenching in the garden or pots.
