We set up a laboratory for Lifestyles of Beneficial Succession. Follow the chronicles and allow your own stories to unfold.

Take an hour walk through for two people. 

Listen to our stories, add your own, create a character, doodle the future, take home a Beneficial Mud Ball, a tomato and basil plant. Maybe connect in a serendipitous way.

Plants for you to take and to grow food everywhere. Healthy for us and Earth.

1. The Harbor Phyto Micro Myco Moss Mollusk & Me: biosphere tool kits. Hpmmmmm Series (p is silent)

2. Mythology: Visioning way out to back cast to the present.
DD Maucher’s mythological character in a parallel civilization underwater in oxygen breathing vast network of caverns. A highly symbiotic human like — perhaps mutated, evolved, descended from dolphins and then to become Neanderthals who left the caves and adapted. A young adventurer in the community who travels to the over-water world to explore. She sees up in the water & toxic detrimental succession she’s never seen before.  it’s our rudimentary systems out of sync with nature.

She wonders how could they can be so blind and create so much unnecessary suffering from the human by-products. The observations and struggles in the overwater world are observed by these mythical characters.  Maucher forecasts through the character with photography and movement. (Images archival ink on canvas or paper). “Back casting” is a term from BFI.org. Fly to the future and walk backward to create the steps forward.

3. The “Ephemeral Piazza” development of our village characters that are both bioremediating and easily symbiotic.  Participants involved Kappo Kappino, JK Canepa, Sonia Pena and the Garbagia & Loisaida arts crew. Make a character and a costume! (August). Offer a skill share. Fill out the Abundance Card.

3C  We gathered to dream journey with Mugwort & share wellness protocols. The Harlequin Hallucination flying overhead (costume by dd maucher) guides us through our dreams to help us vision tomorrow.

4. Mapping & Story mapping The beginning of The Plan LES. Ongoing Wall Map data of LES by Stewart Hoyt & DD Maucher. Story mapping gatherings with JK Canepa. Green Map data events for contributions  with Wendy Brawer.

MoS Is celebrating 10 years! 

DD’s incubation and suspended animation at Grace has been interesting. Still plants and mud balls to gift away. MoS MoBSter LoBSters grew bio textiles, made elixers, shopped for neighbors, offered a Ceremony and skill shares—  virtual and live. 

MoS Labs intends this exhibit to be a pedagogy for continued participation & development. It is an installation that communicates what it is to be a Master of Succession and how to make it your own. 

These offerings are ready to “butterfly out” with whomever else is ready to partake.
