A few MoS Collective, DD and Gil, spent a great week on the Sloop Clearwater working and as environmental educators and getting sail training on the Sloop Clearwater. (from 8am-10pm everyday- hard work and really great). You can apply too on their web site.
We started at 79th St to Cold Spring to Verplanck to Yonkers where we disembarked,
If you can afford to support them with:
– Great farm fresh food and yummy products. Hard work needs good food and there is an excellent food preparer. Your excess food will exponentially work for all of us.
– supplies for the boat
– supplies for education (water creatures, water science, history, navigation, sail hoisting and music)
– your volunteer time on the boat
– and ofcourse financial support is an ongoing need for this critically important organization.
– Send groups of kids there to have a great day learning.
