download6 Feb 15, 2015 is unreal and surreal. it marks the passing of special special dear friend and MoS participant, Catherine Wolcott. Hard to believe
she is now a bright spirit.

Today so happens to be the MoS’s placement of the first ice ball ever!  The first ice ball of many future ones to be soon placed.
I am comforted to have this ice ball as an icon for our healing and renewal today.  This one I super charged with starlight to help Catherine on her way.

We made 8 ice-badownload7lls formed by balloons —  the 8th must have been made with her in mind. For me, Cath was like a Magic 8 Ball. She always had sage words– not advice but just simple comments that reflected her experiences. Like the 8 Ball .. spin her and shake her and she comes up with a story or phrase that makes everything ok.
Hah- I  can hear her laugh at that.

The icy biosphere preserves alive forces that will awaken with the Spring thaw to transform our larger biosphere.

The pink balloon, in which the ball has been formed, will be peeled off and we will place it somewhere in her memory.  It is frozen with seeds, spores and beneficial microbes.

The ice ball contents will sink into the soil, the seeds will grow, the shiitake spores will expand out with it’s sentient mycelial tendrils and the microbes will bioremediate, restore Earth’s connective fascia. Just like Cath connected people, restored us with her radiance, awed us with her art, and raised our vibration with her laughter & wisdom.

download4Unlike seed balls and mud balls of which people throw many, in front of us today is one super starlight charged ice ball. It is bigger than a seed ball and requires cold weather to process. The nature of winter is a time of contemplation, going within to strengthen our selves and roots.  Winter holds us together warm yet at this unreal moment in time we are frozen.

We are just here inimage 2 the garden glowing with love and gratitude for our friend Catherine. May she be with her loved ancestors and in euphoria.
