Instigated by MoS Collective, hosted by El Jardin Del Paraiso collaborating with East Village Wellness Circle, Kimberly Tate & Maika’i Tubbs Parson’s Classes & Earth Celebrations’ production of the Ecological City Pageant

A Regenerative Culture Experience

This is a structured improvisation with skill-shares, makers, gardeners, designers all building interconnected web of activity.

The collaborators will combine wellness offerings into a symbiotic, interconnected, regenerative culture village.

This is an annual event that skipped last yr. Now we are 2019 on #9, experiment 9.

5/11 will be the smorgasborg of punctilious ballyhoo & symbiotic sophistry that we all love.

2018 Parsons Sustainable Systems teachers making bioremediating mud balls.

This year dozens of participants from Parsons/New School. Kimberly Tate & Maika’i Tubbs, will join The Masters Of Succession in offering regenerative culture expressions with their students.

Former villagers are welcome and new offerings welcome. We will return with our evolutions & discoveries.

The EV Wellness Circle participants will represent the healing culture of the ecological city when the pageant comes through.

It’s going to be full of serendipities & synchronicities because that is one of the by-products of regenerative culture.

Schedule
PART ONE
Regenerative Plaza 12:00 noon
We raise the village plaza together at noon.
(For oysters arrive early. We save the shells to create habitat for more oysters)
Everyone convenes at the Village Piazza, Town Square, Centreville, Place de Mud Ball del Paraiso.
The Village Center demonstrates Lifestyles of Bioremediation & Symbiosis. We interconnect by designing our lifestyles for the beneficial succession of air, water, soil & selves. In return we receive serendipities & synchronicities inherent of regenerative cultures that attend to whole systems approach.  For more Regenerative Plaza details CLICK HERE

To be a villager: Do what you want. One caveat: everything you do seeks to create the beneficial succession of air, water, soil & selves,  To be a Villager contact us.
We will combine your offering into this symbiotic, interconnected, regenerative culture experience. The more participants the more whole the experiment. Do whatever we want to do and be whoever you want to be!

PART TWO
2:15-2:45 pm ECOLOGICAL CITY PAGEANT arrives. The Ecological City Pageant celebrates El Jardin Del Paraiso and its commitment to Wellness which is one of the Pageant’s climate solutions. 

EVWC will host a community circle for the water ceremony with the Ecological City Pageant. Tess Rose starts the soundscape with her crystal bowls will creates a soundscape, Jocelyn will offer tea. We can all help offer tea & aromatherapy to the pageantry. Marta Dann sings to represent the whale and other animals.. An EM-1 Mudball Amulet is a gift to the garden, water is poured. The soundscape returns as they spiral out.

3pm Afterwards stay to linger, enjoy, pick up to 4pm. the village disappears to follow the procession to the river for art, dance, music, storytelling celebrations.

PART THREE
5/11 ECOLOGICAL CITY CELEBRATION 
Ends at Cherry St. bridge entrance to the East River Park Amphitheater.

3:45 We join the climate solutions pageantry to the waterfront for the waterfront culminating ceremony with procession bands, dance performance, the Pageant finale & launch of the bioremediating sculpture on to the water as a celebratory gift to the river. The Bioremediating Floating Sculpture falls apart and sinks to the bottom to remediates the waste & toxins in the sludge below, create activity & oxygen, give the aquatic life vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, plus the sculpture will bind metals out of water column, sequester CO2, reduce acidity, filter the water.

We throw mudballs and offer the East River as a dose of healthy nutrition. The stockpile was unfortunately crushed one by one by a caring human heart who thought they were “just mud balls” with no purpose.

2017, 596 Acres worked with several people to make this recording of the history of this garden. Eminent Domain was to gain the 12 lots for a garden.

2017 Wenting helping Betty make paper from egg cartons from which we can make the Town Crier news for the town crier to hand out.

It will be  a MudBall Ball Version #9.  The East Village Wellness Circle springs out of the ephemeral village center.

Marie & JK offer Garden Herbal Salt scrubs and our oyster shell excess crushed in to gravel for gardens.

The sculpture will fall apart and dissolve in the water from our lifestyles of bioremediation & symbiosis we used our by-products to build this sculpture— it is a designed accident. It represents our gratitude to the river of life, offer seeds for migrating spring birds and water fowl, sequester co2, bind up heavy metals for decades, kickstart beneficial succession, eat waste, leave vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, break down toxins, de-acidify, sop up surface oil, filter 70 gallons a day per oyster, add to oyster habitat, seed more kelp.

* Beneficial Mudballs are the silent advocates of the Empathic World.

At the Regenerative Plaza the collaborative “Unfolding Story of Toad” continues ..

Once upon a time in 2014 dd asked Marie to start a story: she replied: “The King & Queen of Trash had a daughter but wanted a son”, dd replied, “So the princess-prince, who is really a frog…” the story unfolds 5/11

This will be a cohesive regenerative smörgsbord, a punctilious ballyhoo of symbiotic sophistry that we all love. A co-creation of the beneficial succession of air, water, soil & selves which merges into cultures.
