It’s for this Winter! It’s a map of a place we co-create and connect live. We can see each other on the map as these munchkins we select as avatars.
Because of the people I know in the permaculture, gardening, art, activism and improvisation communities, I’m influenced.
What I’m experimenting with is lifestyle— a quality of life, the local, micro, not the marco. The macro will come and hopefully it will unfold similarly to the micro.
The village piazza: is a lifestyle created by whoever’s there, the an accumulation of our gifts of life. We start with these gifts, human and all beings, then debunk urban waste, restore, hibernate this winter. That’s is a simple plan and the caveat is above. So you’re free to be you.

Deconstruct the cities. Undevelop. De-urbanize. De-industrialize. Undo it all and start from the microbes this time. Let life unfold while we just stay tuned to the needs of healing and helping with our gifts. We must just observe what we’re creating. We can not plan what happens we must watch. We can stay true to healing air, water, soil and selves. All size cosms, micro macro are complex and beautiful spaces. For this experiment we don’t want to plan them too much — that might reduce the potential. We can not plan too far ahead the Ephemeral Piazza — besides its’ caveat and watch life unfold. It’s an experiment. We take the hurdles as they come. Make solutions as they are needed. It’s natural and exponential.

The Ephemeral Plaza hang out is on gather.town. The first 40 pioneering participants’ initial fee is waived and monthly fee forever as long as you participate each month and join one town hall once per two months. It’s like a community garden.
As population grows the price might decrease if all goes well. We want it to finally be no cost as we find ways to live symbiotically. However, to keep it valuable in the current economy a price is important to attract users. Ha, I know, but it’s true! The more you’re kept out the more you will want in. That’s the big fake out. Burn. It’s infomercial magic.

If you take a long break in participating you’re asked to contribute the monthly fee because carrying you and many others is heavy. We want you in town even while you are too busy. You can also be “busy” or “out of town”.
We will grow this Winter toward our Springtime serendipity explosion. There’s we will be more outside and less socializing on line. The winter is all about rest, heal, restore, build momentum.
Every evening in the winter we go out for a stroll 5-8pm in our local plaza, park, square. One of mine is “The plaza of the wind” on C/11th St. The other is Tompkins Square. The other is the East River Park.
