More on story telling! It’s a hot topic because we have this global pandemic pause and an election. Many people are asking for our stories. The ones we choose to share could help all beings & the earth. The stories are there, here, we’ve already written and told them. Let’s walk into those stories. So interesting the different descriptions of storytelling. Today I heard that same Milton Friedman quote. It’s also about the stories: the plans we have ready after a shock. so three in a day means it’s a CRAZE of course.
Why an emphasis these days to tell and write the stories of our pasts and futures? (as we’re doing at MoS Labs Phase 4 of Microbes to a Metropolis at Grace Exhibition Space.
Normally humans tell and live stories. Maybe the story we’re telling & hearing are not offering fair thriving livelihoods for all life. Maybe we can translate our lifestyles past, present and future better?
As Robin Wall Kimmerer says, The people of them seventh fire are at a fork in the road.
Which style of story telling speaks to you? Seems to be many these days. Either one, our histories and vision of the future come from our stories.
