For the last two years dd, of MôS Town in the Land of MôSs, has made, with help, floating sculptures for a community ecological pageant on climate solutions. They have become Dressy Bessys of bioremediation (Doll with a variety of closures from 60’s).

She uses the ingredients and supplies from the MoS Hpmmmm toolkit: The MoS Harbor Phyto Micro Myco Moss Mollusk & Me Series. (Hpmmmmm, The “p” is silent. Saying it is restorative as well). This Program offers a tool kit of bio technologies that restore the ecosystem.

In The Hpmmmmm Estuary Program the participants receive hands-on experience with restorative system ingredients — at the water’s edge preferably where they make the MoS Bioremediating Biospheres. Participants look through microscopes, collect water data and record their results. All the main ingredients are also good for ourselves so we also have power immune energy balls and oysters to shuck. That’s where the “me” comes in. Treats!

All these ingredients go into the sculpture’s water restoration system. We want all artists in the world to build a working relationship w a scientist and to do river research as a by-product of their art.

Below are two previous versions of the sculpture system. In order to scale up the healing of our waterway we propose 3,333 water bioremediating sculptures.

Stacking functions

Artists expend energy making art. Why add to the destruction of the planet?  Why not choose non toxic supplies or choose supplies that restore ecology as a by-product of our art.

Recruiting 3333 artists:

Imagine thousands of bioremediating sculptures floating away, soon to fall apart and leave a better trace. How to activate this many artists?  With a mailing list of 30k artists. Help us reach them for a launch here in NYC!

2020 The Time is Now

We will send off one again this year as an educational example of bioremediation systems. One or thirty will not enough to tip the scale to balance.  Help us organize 3,333 ASAP, by June 2021 at least

Time is limited because the world is unraveling as we read. Let’s do it. Scientists know these technologies by the back of their hands.

A true citizen engagement project.

A Commemoration

That’s not all: The launch is a ceremony of gratitude and commemoration, a ritual.

Water is life. Water is passage too. We are asking people to join us who themselves or their ancestors escaped their homelands by way of water passage. We’d like them to launch the sculpture as a commemorative ritual.

Accompanied by an artistic sound scape which includes space for ambient noise.

LoBS

For the artists this will be a culmination of months of living lifestyles of beneficial succession, teaching, embodying the critical changes we need to make for a more abundant future.  Artist lead others by modeling a high quality of being.

Restoration

Ultimately funding for this project will help us  restore the waterway, reduce acidification, increase carbon sequestering and bioremediating toxins. Better yet it’s exponential. The beneficial activities tip the scale at a calculated measure and natural succession is restored. Every year we will have fewer sculptures. After 4 years we move on to another estuary.

Examples

Below we have last 2 years’ of sculptures as examples. The first year we represented elders‘ wisdom and regeneration.  The second year the youth culture movement. Representing the  next generation as they look ahead fiercely and confidently. This year will be a continuation if the story.

Next step, maybe you know a great Executive Producer and fundraiser?

Dear Visionary Agents of Restoration,

Presenting a new project from MoS Collective. A Commemorative Water Ceremony. Restorative, gracious and healing for people, ancestors, the water and life.

A call for interested partners.

This is a collaboration which is part installation, part performance and part science education in bioremediation technologies.  It is an opportunity in which everyone can engage to restore our relationships to each other and the sea.

The launch day will be a ceremony with the artists and their sculptures to honor those who traversed waterways to escape their homes. We invite them to launch the sculptures for the ceremony.

Consider a one time gift or monthly support. Join MoS Collective and their projects of Beneficial Succession.

Why 3,333?

= There are 3,333 people in NYC or with ancestors who crossed by water to escape .

= there are thousands of eco artists ready to participate.

= 1 million mud balls (Emrojapan.com is the EM-1 active ingredient in mud balls.)

= 6,666 Mycobooms (inspired by Paul Stamets’ adaptation of hair booms.)

= 1 silo of hair & fur to absorb oil on water.

= 2 million oysters: Oyster cages hang off the sculpture and balance the raft.  The cages are spheres made of willow. In the East River oysters are hung in metal cages. If oysters were thrown in they would drown in the sludge. The EM-1 mud balls will reduce the sludge at edges to reveal rocks on which to attach.

The sculpture sails off to eventually float into a shallow nook on the side of the river. As the sculptures biodegrade further the willow cages disintegrate. The oysters might attach to rocks. The myco-hair-booms will last longer than the sculpture. The oyster mycelium will continue to feed on the oil soaked hair and remediate it.

= 2 million mussels & shells

= 2 tons of kelp that will grow fast, de-acidify the water and sequester CO2.

= 333,330 bushels of invasive “Phragmites will bind heavy metals out of the water column for up to 10-20 yrs.“ — as per Paul Mankiewicz, PhD biochemist.

= 3,333 bird seed designs/medicinals on the sculpture, headdresses for migrating birds.

= causing a desire to re-plant more willow along the waterfront.  I used willow and curly willow. An ailing willow had to be cut down to build a new fence at the garden. We’ve lost all five giant willow trees at the garden due to storms.

Art & Culture

Who of your artist friends might want to bring their skills? We’ll train 25 artists located near different estuaries who will in-turn take this to their estuaries to involve 3,333 artists.

Can the art and culture of LoBS (lifestyle of Bioremediation & Symbiosis) really clean up our polluted non-swimmable and non-fishable waters more quickly than other methods?  Can 3,333 restoring sculptures not only catalyze but directly make a healthier estuary? Are artists who live LoBS instigators of a healthy economic spiral of beneficial succession? YES.

MoS says:  artists must, with scientists consulting them, help forge the paths so others can also enjoy the heightened quality of life that comes from lifestyles of bioremediation & symbiosis.

LoBS Art is at both ends of the many chains that loop and loop into large spirals of betterment. It is a beneficial by-product of regenerative culture and vice versa.

MoS Labs MoBS LoBS Art products and services regenerate economy.

We must create lifestyle innovations now so we will have healthy lifestyles in the future. The abundance that pours forth from our restored natural systems are by-product of intelligent observation of Gaia’s systems.

Art is whatEver you want it to be. Choose are that restores our resources. Lifestyles of Bioremediation Art leaves a better trace while it creates an abundant civilization for present & future.

Science: Global results with EM-1

Penang Bay bioremediation took three years to create emergency use water. Malaysian waterways are some of the worst in the world. They are cleaning them up with EM-1 technology as a part of this solution.  The project started in 2008 by an EM-1 distributor & his family. Soon it became supported by the President and private donations. Now they continuing up the tributaries with a whole systems approach.

Tokyo Bay will be healthy enough for swimming by the Olympics. 3-4 yr treatment.

There are thousands of smaller examples globally including Germany, Austria, UK, Canada, Bolivia and Southeast Asia.
